Innoka Guided Moose Hunts |

Air will now be offering guided moose hunts in the Innoko National Wildlife
Refuge. We have just been awarded an exclusive guide use area in the Refuge.
This area is approximately two million acres and we are the only
guided/outfitter allowed in it.
 Our area is the entire lower Innoko and all
drainages running into it, including the famous Iditarod River and the
Paradise controlled-use areas. This area has some of the best moose hunting
country that Alaska has to offer. This country is extremely remote and we
are very fortunate to have an exclusive in this area. We have done
self-guided hunts in this area in the past with very good success with our
average bull over 60 inches. We have not done guided hunts in this area
before, but we have had 100% success on guided hunts in our other area in
unit 21. This hunt will be done out of comfortable tent base camps with
spike camps to get into remote areas. This hunt is fully guided and
outfitted with a full kitchen and cook at our base camps. Once in camp,
hunting will be done
 from boats with either a prop or jet engine making it
possible to cover many miles a day in search of that trophy bull. Most
hunting will be done close to the river with minimal walking. Another
advantage you will have hunting with Willow Air is the fact we own our own
airplanes and do not have to rely on someone else to fly you in and out of
the bush. Hunts will be ten days with one guide and a boat for each hunter,
optimizing your chances for success. For father/son groups and hunters that
prefer to hunt together we can do this hunt on a 2x1 basis. There are also
wolf, and wolverine in the area and can be taken at no additional charge.
Grizzly bear, black bear, and occasional caribou can also be taken for a
trophy fee.
