PREMIER ALASKA KING AND SILVER SALMON FISHERY

If you like seclusion and fabulous salmon fishing this is the trip for you. After arriving in Anchorage, you’ll be greeted and driven straight to Willow Air Service (75 miles). After baggage and gear is stowed tight, the float plane takes off for a stunning 35 minute flight to the lake. Mt. McKinley, just north of Denali National Park, will reveal itself shortly after takeoff, looming some 20,000 vertical feet above!

Once at the lake, a beautiful two-story cabin sits just off the private dock. Full service electricity, running hot and cold water, showers and fully outfitted kitchen await you. The cabin has a DVD player and heat. After a day of fishing, enjoy the sunset on a gorgeous porch and covered deck overlooking the lake. Miles of groomed trails await the after-dinner walker or even the avid hiker. Fishing is definitely possible the first day based on early arrivals, before 11 a.m.

The fishing is a three mile ride through pristine woods to the confluence of a clear running creek and the glacial river, Kahiltna. A custom ATV wagon gets you there comfortably with all your gear in ten minutes. Fish the day away at the river’s edge in excellent wading waters or cast right from shore if the 39 degree Alaskan water gets too cold for your toes!

The salmon fishing is incredible here! Kings range from 18 to 60 lbs!!!! It is not uncommon to tire out way before the fishing does! If Kings are the angler’s goal, plan to fish between June 10th - July 13th. If Silver Salmon are the goal then July 25th - August 20th is most prime. Please note the rainbow trout fishing is excellent just a short hike up stream, full of pockets, riffles and huge old glacial boulders. Fly fishermen and spin fishermen will both do very well at these spots. Daily flyout options are limitless, getting the angler to all species of fish desired. Unguided day trips begin at $260.00 Fly fisherman and spin fishermen will both do very well at these spots.

PETER'S CREEK - SELF GUIDED

If you don’t mind doing your own cooking, and you don’t need a guide, we offer the same trip as above - self - guided. This trip still includes all transportation from Anchorage, the same cabin, all food, and an ATV to use to get back and forth to Peter’s Creek. You will catch & clean your own fish and do your own cooking.

Cost: 1995 per person for 5 days/6 nights

SHULIN LAKE DAY FISHING TRIP

Depending on the time of year, you have the opportunity to fish for a variety of salmon and rainbow trout. A perfect trip for the fly fisherman. A nice secluded place that fishermen dream of, where only a limited number of people are allowed to go. You will be flown in to the lake, then take a six-wheeler ride to the fishing spot for the day.

Only $195.00 per person for unguided (minimum of 4 people)
