Willow Air offer several float trips and specialize in working with our clients to give them the best service possible.
We have a variety of float trips requiring varying degrees of skill and experience.

Moose Creek/Kroto Creek
There streams offer several different options for a float trip. There are actually five options available on this class 1 float. It offers excellent fishing in an accessible, moderately developed river corridor. If you want to avoid the congested lower river, take out at Neil Lake. If you don't mind crowds, float all the way to the mouth

Moose Creek to Neil Lake (Class I, option 1)
This is a 3-4 day float. From Willow it is an hour and a half drive to Moose Creek.

        Raft Rental: $75.00 a day

Neil Lake to mouth of Deshka River (Class I, option 2)
This is a 3-4 day float from Neil Lake to the mouth of the Deshka River.
        Drop off at Neil: weight limit 1300
        Pick Up at Deshka:
        Trip cost: $530.00
        Raft Rental: $75.00 a day

Moose Creek to the mouth of Deshka River (Class I, option 3)
This is a 7-8 day float covering the above 2 floats.

Amber Lake to Neil Lake (Class I, option 4)
This is a 3 day float

Amber Lake to the mouth of the Deshka River (Option 5)
This is a 6-7 day float

Lake Creek Float Trip - Class I-IV
Our Lake Creek float is a 5 day trip ranging from class I to class IV. You would be dropped off at Chelatna Lake which is located at the foothills of the Alaska Range which is west of Mt. McKinley. You will float 54 miles to the confluence of the Yentna River. There are rainbow trout, grayling and carious salmon species to fish for along the way. You may see moose, brown and black bear and of course plenty of bald eagles. The cost of the trip is $1105.00. Raft rental is also available for $75.00 a day.

Chelatna Lake to mouth of Lake Creek on the Yentna $1105.00
This is a 5-day float trip is for more experienced rafters with class I-IV rapids.
Drop off: weight limit 1240
Pick up: weight limit 1300
Raft rental: $75 per day
Prices are based on a minimum party of 2.

Talachulitna River Float Trips - Class I-IV
For the more experienced, we offer a 7 day float on the Talchulitna River. We fly you to Judd Lake and you will float the entire Talchulitna River to its confluence with the Skwentna River. This 50 mile trip varies from a class I to a class IV. The river offers a variety of salmon, dolly varden, rainbow trout and grayling. The cost of this trip is $1105.00. Raft rental is also available for $75.00 a day

Judd Lake to the Skwentna River       $1105.00
This is a 7-day float trip on the Talachulitna Creek to the Talachulitna River to
the confluence with the Skwentna River.

        Pick up: weight limit 1300
        Raft Rental: $75.00 a day

Chilikadrotna River Float - Class I-III
This is a remote area float trip ranging from class I to class III waters. It offers an excellent wilderness adventure. We will drop you off at Twin Lakes, you will flaot a total of 72 miles to the Mulchatna River where you will float for an additional 12 miles to the pick up point. This trip offers excellent fishing with a reliable salmon run. The total cost of the trip is $3890.00.
