This was our 2nd time hunting with Trace and Willow Air. Our first trip was a float hunt, which really didn't fit our style. This year we made a fixed camp. To start, the communication was amazing, which is VERY important. The lodge until we departed was good enough, and the transportation was great. Once we finally made it to the field we were in Moose right away! We were both done hunting with two bulls in the first 3 days of hunting. It was truly an adventure of a lifetime! I recently had the opportunity to hunt with Willow Air on a moose hunt this September, and I can’t say enough about the entire experience. I want to Thank Willow Air for the once in a lifetime experience hunting Alaska on the extreme 120-mile float trip. Had a great experience thanks to guidance of the guides, owner and past hunters, pilots, transporters to get us in and out safe from the field We both shot great moose and seen several more even passed a couple studs. Our moose hunt with willow air was outstanding. I had been on moose hunts twice before in Alaska with another outfitter and had not even seen a moose. Steve did a great job putting us in a good area where we killed two good bulls. As soon as we had the meat back at camp he was there to fly it out. We will be going back in 2011 to hunt moose with willow air again. Thanks Steve we had a great time.
